Individualized Home Supports (IHS)

IHS covers support and/or training in the four community living services categories:

Community participation.
Health, safety and wellness.
Household management.
Adaptive skills

These services help individuals build practical life skills such as navigating the community, using local resources, developing social networks, managing health needs, and maintaining personal safety. Support also includes guidance with household tasks like budgeting, cooking, and home maintenance, as well as strategies for positive behavior, crisis prevention, and increasing independence.
